Business and financial occupations are many and varied. These occupations huddle under a large umbrella comprised of several sectors including finance, accounting, marketing, e-business and management. The possibilities of fields one can enter into are limitless which makes this career path a lucrative one.
Three of the thirty occupations expected to exhibit the largest growth between 2002 and 2012 are to be found in the management, business, and financial sectors. General and operations managers, accountants and auditors, and management analysts all should see faster than average growth, creating about 757,000 new jobs. The finance and insurance sector is expected to add 590,000 jobs by 2012. Ultimately, the number of management, business, and financial workers is anticipated to expand by 2.4 million in the time period 2002-2012. By earning a degree or advanced degree, you can start your career or further yourself in the business world!
